Congratulations You've Connected With Your Roots

You're here because you're related to the Williams, Woodalls or Chisloms.

We are ALL family here and we're happy to have you!

Just so you know, WWC Reunion 2015 will host a genealogy salon with family trees and family ties.

My family is very important to me, visit this page often and you'll discover why. Events are listed newest to oldest! In addition to the Family Reunion we do all sorts of other things; Walks, Senior Dinners, Style Shows, Revivals, and Trips. Some benefit the reunion others do not.

First Annual Easter Egg Hunt 2015- Suggested by Uncle Richard Williams.

Only one child showed up; it was the day before Easter and really cold. At any rate, my great-granddaughter, Ana, found all the eggs and won all the prizes! She had an absolute ball. Thanks to April Williams-Shaw and my granddaughter Jasmine Perry for dyeing eggs, and to Marcia for buying candy. And to anyone else I might have omitted.

Recap and more pictures coming soon!

We are also planning a Fish Fry as well as a

Car Wash, more details coming soon!

Evangelist Ta Shawna Williams had a book launch in March 2015 for

Ten Commandments For Single Ladies In The Church

She is dynamic as a preacher, teacher and speaker and the book launch was really nice!

Senior Dinner - Nov. 1, 2014 @ The Garrison at Fort Harrison, Indpls.

The Senior Dinner suggested by Delores Thornton over 35 years ago has been held annually Every year except 2013. We lost both Aunt Roxie Chislom Cade and Daisy Williams Lewis (Mama) that year and we just weren't in the mood. Those two ladies had NEVER missed a Senior Dinner since its inception.

What a wonderful family time we had at this affair; it was standing room only. The help was to be commended and the food was really good. We had a balloon release for our ancestors before we entered the Garrison.

More Pix coming soon!

The Second WWC Walk @ Pogues Run - October 2014

We did this walk to raise money for the Senior Dinner which was held at the Garrison at Fort Harrison

It was great and once again we had water and refreshments for walkers and this year we even had Walkers' Bibs!!

The First Power Walk (2009 on Millersville Rd) was the brainchild of

Marcia Worthington & Delores Thornton (This was to raise money for the Family Revival started on the suggestion of Marcia Worthington and Delores Thornton) And, we also had money for the Senior Dinner that year!!

The coaches were Ronald Williams, Sr., and James Lewis

we also had a Nurses' Station a Water Station, fruit and power drinks. and my son-in-law, Lamont Perry provided walking meters (from State Farm).

A lot of planning went into this!!

Mama (Daisy Williams Lewis) went home to be with the LORD  October 30, 2013

Rest on Babe~

You left a void that only Heaven can fill. The mother of 13, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother to many. And a friend to all who knew and loved her.

August 2013

I asked Uncles Ronald and Richard if we could plan a Family Picnic in Bethel and they were all for it. It was one of the best times we've had in recent years. I just threw the word out to the online group and also notified folks who are not online and in a matter of days we had it altogether! Thanks to Kenya Carr and son Julian Smith for putting up the tents. To Jimmy Lewis and Orlando (Spanky) Collins for working the grill. And to all who came!!

We're preparing for our old time Tent Revival

Saturday, August 10th @ 6pm at Greater Galilee 4375 N. Arlington

There were not a lot of family members in attendance but the Spirit was there and that is all that is necessary. Uncle Ronald Williams and Connie Lewis Clark suggested this years ago and it's always a hit!

Aunt Roxie Ann Chislom Cade went home on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. She was funeralized on Tuesday, August 6th. She was our oldest living and truly one of a very short list of folks who was dear to EVERYONE! We bless God for allowing us to have her for almost a century~

We are planning a bus trip to the Underground Museum in Cinn. for May 2013. Update: The trip was Wonderful!! This wasn't a fundraiser Delores just decided to plan a trip for the family. The full bus of passengers had a very pleasant and educational trip. Don't they look happy?

And, we're supporting churches where our family has members and/or pastors. Update: We visited, Greater King Solomon, South Calvary, Freedom Full Gospel, and Friendship/Anderson. We certainly had worship and fellowship!

We fellowship together

Visited South Calvary, Pastor John Woodall, Jr., Friendship MBC (Anderson) with Pastor Edgar Woodall, and Freedom Full Gospel, Elder Carlos Thrasher.
